Imagined is an online politically progressive magazine for women devoted to news, lifestyle, and culture. We know that inspiration, intelligence and hope open up a world of possibilities. Our readers want to live purposeful lives and make an impact. Imagined tells stories to affect people and effect change. Journalism spends much energy trying to convince people that the issues are important. But, that is only part of what we think our readers want to hear. Imagined works under the premise that people will care more about a problem if they can see something they can do about it. Consequently, our writers report on ways to solve along with the troubles we face. Ultimately the Imagined reader is an idealist and believes in women’s potential for growth and change.
We know that progressive women are diverse and members of different tribes, but Imagined attempts to bridge boundaries of geography, ethnicity, and race. We have imagined ourselves as a hybrid community with numerous avenues for progress.

Imagined is a publication from Conducive Media, a social entrepreneurial company, dedicated to exploring concrete ways to create positive social change, and thinking of alternative ways to make the world better. We strive to inspire our readers.
We have made it our mission, not only to bring a critical perspective to news, but also highlight stories that are inspirational and hopeful. We do not avoid reporting on difficult and challenging issues.
Conducive Media currently has three media sites featuring original articles: Conducive, a solutions-oriented online magazine at Conducivemag.com, Conducive Chronicleour daily news, culture, and social change site at cchronicle.com, and Imagined.
Conducive Media features a number of unique projects including fundraising for progressive causes, an online community and a unique sweat-free store designed to bring small donors for nonprofits.
